also need a tunnel high way to go into city area like raffles place . east and west and norht west has direct access.
only those living in west has no direct . only can go pie via bke/ bukit batok or go aye then can go city center direct. lta road designer has overlook service for people living in the west??? need direct express way access to city center not indirect via other express way. that will also relieve pie/ aye/kpe at geyland side.
time to look west area as the populations is increasing rapidly with hong kah development.
Soon we'll have MRT station at every bus stop. 😁
LRT from Tengah to Choa Chu Kang and Beauty World

My guess is that there will be such a highway tunnel running under Dunearn Rd and Bt Timah Rd in future.
Reason is that LTA didn't build underground tunnel links from the Dunearn Rd bus stops to the DTL MRT stations, but instead used overhead bridges (another eg will be Labrador MRT station where I believe the future Tengah/Seletar Line will intersect with the Circle Line).

Another "evidence" will be the diversion of the Bt Timah Canal at the Clementi Rd-Jalan Anak Bukit junction north of the junction (red line below) instead of a straight path under it.
Doing so will allow the future twin tunnels to surface here, and perhaps connecting with the PIE.

Tengah line can extend further west to provide a direct access to NTU students travelling from the city or east side.
But 2040s is damn far away, guess some of us here won't be around by then.

NTU > Tengah > Bukit Batok (2 stations) > Maju Camp (Clementi Rd) > Holland Rd (Moonbeam area?) > Holland V
