This year's Shang Dialogue is gonna be a strange and pointless one - China skipping, US sending a FOX TV host Secretary of Defense who likely has no influence on the President or the military, a bunch of Europeans semi-hostile to the US and all the others own time own target do their own thing.

A bit like holding for the sake of holding.
