Finance Minister Lawrence Wong will deliver the Budget 2022 statement in Parliament at 3.30pm today.
This year’s Budget is titled Charting Our New Way Forward Together, Finance Minister Lawrence Wong said in a Facebook post on Thursday night.
“It will set out how we can better position Singapore for future challenges and opportunities, and strengthen our social compact,” he wrote.
Singapore must continue to deal with the “evolving challenges” from COVID-19, while preparing itself for a post-pandemic future, he added.
“I am ready to deliver my first Budget statement in Parliament … This Budget is for our people, our families, and our future generations,” he said.
