US will never send their troops to fight a war that they are not going to win. All they can do is “pray for Ukraine”…..

In the Middle East war, the American has already loss many lives. And they were met with less advance weaponry in the ME war, in Ukraine the American will meet with Russia’s weaponry.

They may end up losing more lives and possibly losing to the Russians and this is something that the American will not want to show to the world.

The Taiwanese better wake up and look at things objectively and not screaming and hair pulling in high emotions. As far as I can see, Biden has done his best to help Ukraine already. At his age he still goes around relentlessly  to gather international support for Ukraine, selling expensive weapons and medicals and offered Zelensky an escape helicopter. 

The Taiwanese must assess who the US will be fighting with if they land boots in Ukraine? Of course, it is comrade Putin who has tons of nuke pointing at his American homeland. The person he is going to take on is not Saddam or Gaddafi. Can he risk a nuke explosion in Washington DC and follow up with nuclear holocaust? 

The next issue the Taiwanese should look at is what can Ukraine offer the allied forces if they take part in the combat? How much gold reserves Ukraine has? Can the natural resources pay for their participation? Of course there are a lot more to consider before going into war. This is the way to calculate whether to war or no war and not by comparing GDP. Oh your GDP bigger, you win liao according to Ah Butt.......

Actually Taiwanese are worried about themselves rather than Ukraine as they expected the US will send troops to fight against PLA when China invades….how can they expect other country defend their land? They must defend their own land….the chance is the US will not send in a single soldier but watches Taiwan fight with China and pray….that is why the US keeps selling old weapons to Taiwan, dunt expect it to die for Taiwan. What happens in Ukraine tells it all, Russia has nukes China also has nukes and hypersonic weapons. The US doesn’t want to fight a war with China just to save the island of Taiwan.

Taiwanese are shocked knowing Biden will not send in troops to Ukraine to defend the country but pray for them instead. They are very disappointed but some argued Taiwan is different as Taiwan is more important to the US due to TSMC chip technology and there’s a Taiwan Strait between mainland and Taiwan, which makes it hard for PLA to invade.

Well, the fact that they are so excited over an ex-foreign minister's visit about sums up the kind of predicament they are in. 

As a side note IMHO, Pompeo is not really an electable character. The left hates him as much as Trump, yet he lacks the charisma to mobilize the right. The funny thing about US now is both Democrat and GOP have a slate of promising and capable young candidates, yet the stale oldies are the ones who hog the limelight.
