SINGAPORE - When he saw police cars on his tail for speeding, a driver who had illicit drugs stashed in his car sped off to escape, leading to a five-minute chase down the Pan-Island Expressway.

During the chase, Vaswani Richard Prakash, 36, rammed into a pedestrian, causing her to suffer multiple injuries, and drove on.

That’s why no strong deterrent and pedestrians will still be rammed going forward Big Grin

Need to come out law to ban using hp when crossing the traffic light/zebra crossing.
Injured lady should sue SPF for indirectly causing her injury.
Yes sometimes at the crossings I see these office girls playing their hps while slowly crossing, oblivious to the waiting traffic.
