The problem with the west is that they assume that technology advancement is not possible without their transfer. That often was the truth in the past decades or before China opened up.

These days, the west and anyone else should change the way they engage China. This dragon has awakened and when you force its hand, it will dump unlimited resources to push ahead. China has the resources to realise dreams. China is not what it was 4 decades back.

Cheers..

Not surprising that China can progress fast in semicon technologies.
According to a China semicon expert, many semicon researchers in the US are Chinese (or East Asians).
One good example will be AMD after Chinese took over the management.
It is probably this reason why US is trying to force TSMC to transfer tech to the AngMohs by setting up plant(s) there.

China is planning for underwater satellites system. All submarines will go duck.

Of course someone will say China has successfully stolen the technology from US. .... Big Grin
