Highly suspect is the variant. Maybe the ART test is not accurate.

Some essential oils are good reliefs to combat coughs. But use them with care. The peppermint ones are good. Hot teas with peppermint also good.

Keep warm. 
Avoid crowded places, esp during festivals. 
One good recommendation is lily bulb with read dates, dried longans. Add tang yuen.

Lianhua Qingwen is very effective to subdue the symptoms. It help in fast recovery and get well fast. I got covid and took Lianhua Qingwen with combination of western medicine and i got well. Also, it reduce fatigue and weakness of the body. Just remove the outer layer plastic and pour the powder on cup. Add a little warm water and a little cool water.

or drink hot ginger tea
ginger is heaty

Just saw some China videos recently that Lianhua Qingwen should not be used if the illness is 风寒 (cold).
Heaty supplements like ginger tea should then be used.
And for Covid, some also pointed out that it starts off as a 风寒 before turning into a 风热 .

COVID infection usually does not cause mucus or phlegm. It's not COVID.

Could be due to cold weather,catch a cold n lungs infected
Needs antibiotics
