Our Cost of Living is HIGH due to FWs levies and FTs coming in earning 20% and 40% more than us.
They can escape by sending monies or living back home to India, Philippines, Malaysia . . . when retrenched like Jac Lau.
But what can we do to stretch our savings??

The biggest problem with Singaporeans are... when earning a bit of money wanna spend like a millionaire to show off. Many dun saves and then invest .... just spent spent spent ....

Don't apply civil servants. They do able to save yet can spend.

Singapore is a developed country with that level of standard.
The same rubber slippers made in india cost $1 but cost $6 here.
It is best that FTs come with lower salary.
