The survey is done by an insurance company. Of course the results are like that. If everyone can cope with job loss or illness, insurance companies can go kaput.

Our Cost of Living is HIGH due to FWs levies and FTs coming in earning 20% and 40% more than us.
They can escape by sending monies or living back home to India, Philippines, Malaysia . . . when retrenched like Jac Lau.
But what can we do to stretch our savings??

The biggest problem with Singaporeans are... when earning a bit of money wanna spend like a millionaire to show off. Many dun saves and then invest .... just spent spent spent ....

Singapore is a developed country with that level of standard.
