Extra salt because the judge who made the decision is the brother of Kenneth Jeyeretnam and the son of JBJ.

Stop reading at " High Court judge Philip Jeyaretnam ruled in a written judgment that a police officer had arrested Mr Mah in 2017 because he disliked him - not because he genuinely believed Mr Mah was a danger because of a mental disorder. "

Philip Jeyaretnam is brother of opposition party leader Kenneth Jeyaretnam..LOL.

Hahahah see rare case of govt losing a case... I think they will appeal and reverse the judgement lah. Else everyone starts suing the govt.
Pappies Gov is just sore loser
why dun they just disband the courts suah, and they make the call for every case

Appeal or challenge?
Should t the govt be worried about the wrongful arrest itself that resulted in an jnnocent man being locked up for nothing by the police.

Just like the young child who committed suicide after police interrogated him without a guardian being present. ....after that the police still defend their actions and claim nothing is wrong.

Acting in good faith, right of self defence VS abuse of power, rash act, negligent act, ignorance of consequences
Firm and stern voice VS rudeness, impolite,
Different people has different interpretations.

I think trust is falling to an all time low.
keppel , ST, MHA, and some ppl can still claim that the public generally trust the government! Rotfl
the next gov, whether white or blue
better do some serious housekeeping. Fire some mad dogs
early retirement for the judge ?
Isnt the law supposed to protect the vulnerable? So is law minister saying law should protect the enforcer? Is my interpretation correct??
