The SBL scrip borrowing lending scheme allows you to lend your stocks out for a fee.

You can join by filling out a simple onlije form. Once your stock is loan out you collect a monthly fee.

You can buy and sell your stock as per normal, the scheme does not interfere with your trades at all....other than giving you a monthlydividends should your stock get loan out there is nothing you need to do. The rate is around 6%.

After signing up a month ago I received my first dividend from SBL scheme...the only downside is you have to own $50K of a stock for it to enter the lending pool.

Dividend payment is on 12th of each month

Surely there are some other terms and conditions that need to be observed??

Loaning out your shares to shortsellers is like lending a bullet to your enemy to shoot you and hoping he misses.
