Actually the pay in the UK is lower than the same job in HK…go there to get pay cut lor.

That is very bad.

Worse will be when they hit old age. Heard that a nursing home stay in UK costs GBP8K+ a month.
A HKie can retire in a China nursing home for less than one tenth this amount.

Well, HKers love their colonial masters and British culture…in HK that culture is well admired and respected…however those self claimed HK born British Overseas Citizens are not respected the same way in Britain…many regretted moving there others are still in shock.

They don't know the situation in UK, but having lived there then they realize that if not a good place to be after all............... Big Grin

Average pay in HK is HKD 435k (S$73,728) per year and in Britain average pay is GBP 41k (S$24,848). Huh

And things are more expensive in the UK.
