Actually India has just built a huge rail bridge (and supposedly world highest) that will be operational end of this year.

Seems like bridges in India like to collapse before opening.
Still remember this case in 2010 when a new pedestrian bridge linking to one of their sports stadium for the Delhi Commonwealth games collapsed.



And in 2016 when a section of a Calcutta bridge that was still under construction fell on the busy road below.
