There is a marked difference between an elected MP and NMP. The NMP cannot vote if some issues which require the members to vote. Also NMP are paid an allowance of $2,000 per month, whilst an elected MP is paid $16,000 per month.....

Not sure but I think lying is not liable for criminal proceedings but reflects badly on the honesty and integrity of a person's character.
In R Khan case Workers Party is setting up a disciplinary committee to look into the matter. Whether she will be asked to resign by the party is a serious consideration which the voters are watching closely I believe......
