Moses knew it was God when He received the Ten Commandments. He had no doubt that it might be an angel or demon. He knew it was God. When God (as the Holy Spirit or Jesus) chooses to reveal Himself, the man will be given to know it's Him.

Religion is the opium of the people. It stops logical thinking, creates a false sense of hope of salvation and eternal life.

Original sin? Very clever way to make you feel guilty... if you don't think logically.

Many people are sucked into it. Even though at the back of their minds they have doubts , they don't dare to question their faith or maybe just want to have hope.

Who wants a hopeless ending? Maybe only stubborn people like us

You said "religion", but what followed were comments about Christianity.

Would you say the same things to Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam?

I noticed that when discussing religion, it is invariably Christianity that will come under assault and be ridiculed wor.

But even if you think Christianity has a bigger followers than Islam, it doesn't mean anything. Atheism is currently the ideology that has the highest followers in the western nations and some Asian nation. Does that mean atheism is true?

Such anecdotal stories, no matter how credulous, doesn't mean much. Hinduism has plenty of such stories too. Does that make Hinduism true?

Jesus has a God. He said so himself in John 20:17.

Here is the elephant in the room. Jesus's God is different from the Christian God. Jesus's God is one person and Christians' God is three persons.

Why can't the Christians see the elephant?
