Red beans as WhatDoUThink recommended, together with barley (I prefer Holland barley as the China barley sold here taste rancid). I normally take this combo (without the TCM ingredient) as dinner for 3 consecutive days. Green beans are quite cooling, so can't take it as often as red beans.
You can also try soaking your feet in warm (40-42 deg) water at night b4 sleeping. TCM believes this will help to remove dampness.

I believe too. The current old folks 70yo-100yo don't take processed and sugar-laden food for a large part of their life.
Plus there are more radiation, pesticides and growth hormones in our food nowadays, so much higher chance for the younger gen to get cancer and have a shorter life as a result.
