The stock market going up as rates go up looks and feel good but can lead to a sudden unwind and abrupt move should the stress of higher rate suddenly push the economy to breaking point.

Personally I find the situation rather risky. ....

The hope is for "soft landing" .....but teh fed can lose control just like they did when it comes to inflation in 2022.

So long as the US market keep going up bullish investors will keep laughing at the bears but I wonder who will have the last laugh...

I decided to close as the actions of China govt will delay the market from falling so I don't see immediate gains from holding. Should they push the HSI back to 20k that will be another shorting opportunity as the HSI always fail to stay above 20k

Economy solid give fed more room to increase rate further n hold rate longer is bad for stock. Especially my tech stock.

It hv been said tat fed is always behind the curve. Otherwise we would not hv recession n mkt crashes. 

It could be like previous recession all of a sudden we are in one then fed will start to reduce rate then mkt will rally.
