Wrong. The reason why people think it works is because every trader is looking at it. If nobody is looking at it then the death cross is useless.
But most traders dun make money, so that already tells you it is not a good indicator. If you just use it alone then most of the time you'll be losing money.

Yes what you say is correct HSI is on downtrend and headed below 20,000...the failure to cross resistance means it js weak.

It's just silly to say that the index will fall based on the death cross. It may fall or it may not, after the cross. There many factors at play. Like I said, if it's just the cross then every trader will be making money cos everyone is looking at it. But it's not the case.
It's simply irresponsible to make calls based on a cross. Of cos, many of us know how inaccurate the calls are but some may not. Dun lead them to horlan!
