The Singapore govt will always go after immediate economic gains of importing people. if Singaporesns suffer as a result ...so be it as there is little Singaporeans can do. 

if you recall, many Singaporeans protested such policies of importing people to surge up the population.



The PAP went after the protest organisers so there will not be future protests on this issue any more.

In the end the PAP can do what it wishes to do to Singaporeans. Their power will not be affected.
