Singapore RSAF has 60 fighter jets F-16 much much older than the Egyptians
Maybe it's time to consider replacing them with Chinese J-10C fighter jets..

F16 is a 40 years old airframe and nearing retirement by 2030.
This is why Ukraine is finally getting their F-16 while SG is retiring them.
Bang for Buck is a no brainer to pay in RMB than is USD for a product that is less expensive, technically more advanced and does not crash because of age (an RSAF F-16 was lost this ear due to multiple failed gyroscopes.
Like the Falcon, J-10 is a single engine light-weight FBW fighter. Unlike the Falcon, J-10 comes with more advanced sensors like IR optical tracker - hence no need to use radar.

This is why you're bound by the passkey and GPS and you will be unable to attack targets belonging to allied interests and actors of the country of manufacture of the equipment you're using.
For example, Singapore will be unable to attack Philippines or Japan and vice versa, because all using US equipment and are US allies.
India will be unable to attack China and vice versa using Russian aircraft and guided missiles.
Egypt will be unable to attack Iran and vice versa using Chinese aircraft and guided missiles.

Egypt is a newest member of BRICS having join in on 2 Jan 2024. Pakistan has also applied for membership.
Both are Muslim majority countries who were once US "allies" and so both air forces also have large no. of F-16.
Me thinks the Chinese have to thank Israel, which also fly the F-16, for its act of Gaza Genocide.
Naturally, Pakistan and Egypt both independently conclude where they future strategic interest is....
