Fed has to show it is serious fighting inflation.
I don't understand why investors expect Powell to soften...he won't soften until he sees clear sign inflation is defeated.
Last CPI show inflation rate fall slightly...but was still high, investors got too excited as usual.
I posted warming that US is dead cat bounce and bounce was over.

But it is not always in this manner, normally will kill both sides… pump up and dump….yesterday trading a bit strange. Look like they are really very panic.

All the drama in stock market but nothing changed on the bond market.
Stock investors themselves ho and get optimistic and push up stock price then expect Powell to soften his hawkish stances. All the moves are causes by fickle minds of stock traders.

They have to increase interest rate to double digits to be effective in curbing inflation.
But they have no guts to do it!

some traders might think it would go up to cover gap 3 first before coming down but it didn’t happen yesterday.
