There are already new rules that mandate both private and public c/p to install a min no. of charging lots in c/p.

My guess highly urbanised regions like SG already have advantage in pushing more EV charging station in many premises.

And like any new EV models, BYD uses  Euro-standard Type 2 CCS charging 80kW port.

Seems certain Caste can afford to be more environmentally friendly vs a more matured Chinese EV market which has far more variety of EVs models targeted on wider segments.

The good news, however, BYD batteries are one of the safest in the industry. So good that even Toyota approves it.

That is aimed directly at Telsa Model 3 in the "affordable" segment.

But in India, the EV is positioned as "premium" product.
