But I doubt Biden got the ball to do it?

China is working very hard to block US outflow inflation.

E.g. beef is only US$6-9 per pound.

Batam pork here is also not cheap (S$14/kg), considering pork prices in China has recently dropped to as low as RMB14 per kg.

Actually US Angmohs eat more pork than beef..
Beef is very low percentage. If I did not remember wrongly it is only 20% out of the total meat consume in US.

The knock-on consequences are particularly alarming for automakers, where silicon is alloyed with aluminium to make engine blocks and other parts, as well as chemical manufacturers who turn the metal into silicone-based products.
