Quora- The irony is that the Singapore government is a nanny state only as far as restricting the rights of its people. However, when it comes to the welfare of the people, as far as the government is concerned, live or die, you are on your own.

Wayang means act act and no work really done. The country will collapse?
Just now I go hawker centre, the entry point no one ensure in. And I do not see the scan out sensor although I purposely check two exit points cos I want to scan out before leaving.

Nanny or wayang state never mind, but only if the govt truly has its people on its mind.
So far, I do not see the ministers or the MPs having such excellent capabilities that they deserve the salaries they're getting.
