A Budget director for 2024-2025. He resigned from his public service post was a director of security and resilience programmes at Ministry of Finance. Mr Loh interacted with residents at a market distributing free household supplies to low-income families and was later seen at the launch of the master plan to enhance facilities in the area. He appeared alongside Jalan Besar GRC’s current slate of MPs: Minister for Digital Development and Information Josephine Teo, Senior Minister of State for Defence Heng Chee How, Ms Denise Phua and Dr Wan Rizal.

GE2025: Desmond Lee to lead PAP slate in West Coast-Jurong West GRC, site of 2020's closest. The five-member slate includes two new faces: orthopaedic surgeon Hamid Razak, 39, and lawyer Cassandra Lee, 33, will join Senior Parliamentary Secretary Shawn Huang, whose Taman Jurong division moved over from Jurong GRC under new electoral map, and West Coast GRC incumbent MP Ang Wei Neng.
MPs Foo Mee Har, who entered politics in 2011 and represented Ayer Rajah-Gek Poh ward, and Rachel Ong, who made her electoral debut in 2020 and oversaw the Telok Blangah division, will not be part of the team. It is unclear whether both will step down or be deployed to other constituencies. 
Former transport minister S Iswaran, an MP in the GRC since 1997, resigned in January last year after he was charged with corruption. He eventually pleaded guilty to lesser charges of obtaining gifts and was sentenced to 12 months in jail last October and is currently serving home detention.

SINGAPORE – Lawyer Alex Yeo will be stand in Potong Pasir under PAP banner at upcoming polls, replacing 3-term MP Sitoh Yih Pin, who is stepping down from politics. Mr Yeo, 46, entered politics in 2020, when he was fielded in Aljunied GRC as part of PAP slate. PAP lost with 40.05%
against Workers’ Party, which won with 59.95%.
In a press briefing in Potong Pasir on April 16, Mr Yeo said he is not new to Potong Pasir because he started volunteering in constituency in 2013.

SINGAPORE: PAP candidate Liang Eng Hwa will once again contest Bukit Panjang Single Member Constituency (SMC) in upcoming GE election. Liang, who has represented Bukit Panjang since 2020, is preparing for a rematch against Spore Democratic Party (SDP) chairman Paul Tambyah. In their 2020 contest, Liang secured 53.73 percent of the vote, the narrowest margin among all SMCs. Expressing gratitude for another opportunity to serve Bukit Panjang residents, Liang reflected on challenges of his first term.

SDP has significantly increased its ground presence in recent, w/activists, Tambyah engaging residents through walkabouts & small group dialogues.
