It's good for both MCT and MNACT
MCT: Higher yield, higher NAV/share
MNACT: Premium of almost 20% to convert to MCT (versus about $1 before the insiders leaked the news), stronger portfolio after merger
However, MNACT unit holders got the better deal. That includes me.
