Clearly proven, Singapore judiciary system is world class.

Reported ; Singapore judges are ranked highest in the Westminster legal system.

Quote:Gives thumbs-up sign
Ong was seen giving a thumbs-up sign to one of his lawyers after court was adjourned.

He then spoke to members of his team and a police officer while waiting to exit the courtroom.

He was wearing his face mask at the time.

He was also seen signing what appears to be a chequebook.

Buh bye, inmates. See ya never.

so convict who has yet to serve their jail terms but was known to have terminal cancer should be released as long as they can pay some fines?

So $30K is maximum fine according to law book. Looks like too little for the ultra rich. May be constitution needs to change to allow different financial punishment scale for peasants and rich.  One set of punishment for all dun seems satisfactory for many lao uncles here.      Big Grin
