Difficult to comment. Not sure if the owner really has VERY limited number of bowls or he's just trying to make money out of every damn thing.

My own take is 5 bowls for 2 bowls bought a bit overboard. Furthermore already earlier give 1 free bowl liao. The hawker counter to pay 20 cents for the take away bowl but it seem 20 cents x 5 = $1 is too much for the group of customers. Wonder their parents teach them from young so grow up is like that?
