No changes. After re-skilling still cannot get job or job which pay much lower salary. The reason for retrenchments are because companies want to cut cost, not because they have no skill in performing new task. I don't believe the G doesn't know.

I think nowadays if company intend to retrench X number of employees need to drop a courtesy email to MOM first? This is just so MOM can have a "bigger" picture of the ongoing employment rate in Spore? If not then they last to know very hard to react in time to secure "next rice bowls" for those laid off?

Re- skilling must have at least 1 year Attachment. Otherwise, it is just a scam to get irrelevant cert.
