Some Western fighters who joined the war in Ukraine have been killed because they assumed the fight would be easy, a US veteran who fought in Ukraine told Business Insider.

The veteran, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said a lot of foreign veterans who came to Ukraine to fight against Russia's invasion had been used to fighting at an advantage and struggled to adapt to the conditions there, where they were often outmanned and outgunned.

If you change the word "fight" to "defend" then you are right. Ukraine is defending. The world must tell Russia to stop its simi ranjiao special military operations which is actually an invasion.

Baltic officials say they could send troops to Ukraine without waiting for NATO if Russia scores a breakthrough: report.

Members of parliament for the Baltic states warned German officials last week that their governments were poised to send troops to Ukraine if Russia achieved considerable gains, Der Spiegel reported.

The German outlet reported Sunday that the Baltic officials issued the warning while speaking with representatives for Berlin at the Lennart Meri Conference in Tallinn, Estonia.

Understand there was a 1994 Trilateral statement btw Ukraine,  Russia,  mediated by US and UK where Ukraine would dimantle and transfer its  nuclear arms to Russia in exchange for economy and security assurance from Russia and US and UK.  US and UK have honored this assurance whereas Russia’s Putin dishonored it claiming the assurance given only to the Ukraine’s former Government.  Today. US and UK still honor tt assurance. It is wrong for ThreadStater to say US still wanted Ukraine to fight on. He should just shut up.
