When Lithuania wants money from China, they will say bombastic and good things about China, something like PLP.
But if they cannot get anything from China, they will say the reverse things.

I often wonder why politicians do that kind of thing. If they don't like a country, just don't deal with it. No need to burn bridge by saying silly things which they may regret later.

Lithuania lost more than gain. They got a loan from US $600 million which is peanut. It is a loan only which they have to pay back with interest.
They got a lot of refugees from Belarus and have to pay heavily to feed these people. Russia cut off gas supply to them and the price of energy is more than doubled now.
