Govt is reviewing all water agreements with Singapore - DPM Fadillah. The 1962 Johor-Singapore Water Agreement gives Singapore 250 million gallons of raw water per day at 3 sen per 1,000 gallons and, in return, Malaysia is entitled to buy back the treated water at 50 sen per 1,000 gallons...

This announced by Second Minister for Trade and Industry Tan See Leng on Oct. 22 at the Asia Clean Energy Summit during the Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) 2024. The Energy Market Authority (EMA) has granted Sun Cable Conditional Approval to supply electricity from Australia to S'pore via subsea cables spanning over 4,300 km.
