Why did the man go into the girls’ room past midnight in the first place? It’s just common sense in this day and age. NEVER EVER be alone with any minor or person in a secluded place together. Otherwise it will always be his/her word against yours.

Any male adult should know better than to put himself in such a potentially vulnerable position by entering the bedroom of 2 underaged girls in the early hours of the morning. If he genuinely wished to check on the girls, he could have asked his wife to do so. In my humble opinion, that man was up to no good.
