The age of drones on battlefield is upon us, the world has witnessed a rapid evolution in the types of drones used— been used for attacks, logistics, & reconnaissance. At recently concluded Zhuhai air show, China unveiled next generation ‘Mother of all drones,’ capable of carrying smaller drones in its belly. The Jetank, a heavy unmanned aerial vehicle, was showcased for first time at Zhuhai Air Show 2024, which concluded on November 17. A large drone can carry missiles, bombs, & smaller drones, earning the moniker of “swarm carrier.”
