Mahathir: US set to abandon Ukraine, used as pawn by West

KUALA LUMPUR: Former M'sian PM Tun Dr (M), Mahathir Mohamad today said Ukraine has been taken for a ride by Nato alliance about to be dumped by U.S., he known for his strident anti-western views, its geopolitical strategies, Dr M said Ukraine cannot win the war with its much bigger nuclear-armed neighbour. He, Dr M a two-time PM who continues to shape local politics, highlighted tragic toll of war has had on Ukraine. "Poor Ukraine has been taken for a ride by western alliance & now Trump wants to dump this country," Dr M said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter & echoed concerns Ukraine is being abandoned as a tool in a larger strategy.
"Ukraine cannot win this war," Dr M, who remains active politically even at 99 yrs old.
