If not for him – his erstwhile mentor Chiam See Tong & late Workers’ Party leader Jeyaretnam and later Low Thia Khiang, S'pore would not have much opposition politics to talk. 

Whereas Chiam was less confrontationist, but Dr Chee was always pushing for political envelope. He has lately displayed a more approachable persona. (I think is good, if he better managing his business opening his own restaurant is better for him..lehh).
Do we need a Dr Chee in Parliament?. 

The live GE2020 TV debate eg: showed public could not be expected to hear only one-sided debates. A views of Workers’ Party’s for eg: Jamus Lim who then made debate for viewers thoroughly engaged & seriously. do we need a alternative views that hope can capture public’s imagination or to add life do we all need another fresher views? or a another drama to add to another drama’s sake...Rotfl

Find Edit Delete Reply Quote Report from: Tee tiong huat (minutes ago). The S'pore Story on Democratic Party (SDP) has since thrown its hat into the ring, with party chief Chee Soon Juan announcing on March 23. He will contest Sembawang West SMC. He had previously garnered 45.2% of the vote in Bukit Batok SMC, which will be absorbed into the new Jurong East-Bukit Batok GRC.

If not for his erstwhile mentor Chiam. Let see again who he will face in this SMC ward against likely from PAP party., Big Grin  will he face a likely another candidate likely from LKY, the founder PAP party. 'Interesting' we all is a waiting who he will face in this coming Election day. Coming soon to this screen...soon.
