MOH deputy secretary (policy) Jasmin Lau, 41,
will leave public service on March 31. She served in MOH from 2013 to 2019, looking at healthcare finance & overseeing development & regulation of medical & long-term care insurance in S'pore.
She returned to ministry in Nov 2021 after a stint at Economic Development Board (EDB).
Ms Lau oversees manpower, financing regulatory measures in healthcare system. Other projects she has overseen at MOH include Healthier SG White Paper in 2022, which places focus on preventive care, rather than the traditional hospital-based approach to illness. She was on board of Building and Construction Authority & is a member of board of trustees for the S'pore Institute of Technology. Her other stints were at the Public Service Division, MOM, Ministry of Finance (MOF) and EDB.
