Tensions over Malaysia's felling of 1,000 durian trees. An AI-generated image of a "hidden" durian farm has escalated tensions in M'sia's Pahang state, authorities have recently felled over 1,000 durian trees amid disputes over alleged illegal plantations. Tuesday, M'sian Communications & Multimedia Commission (MCMC) confirmed had questioned individual who uploaded AI image, reported by South China Morning Post. MCMC said: "Content is believed to have been generated using artificial intelligence, as a result, various speculations & negative perceptions have arisen among the public regarding illegal planters in the Raub district, Pahang."..
