Thank to all, at least from Singapore Merdeke and before independent" or "free" and for us and Malay. It is a rallying cry for freedom and independence, particularly in Malaysia and for SG60 for all Singapoean, a good meaning to us.. 

The word "Merdeka" is derived from the Sanskrit word "maharddhika", which means "rich, prosperous, and powerful". In the Malay Archipelago, it evolved to mean "freed slave".
In the context of Malaysia, "Merdeka" is also used to refer to Malaysia's National Day (Independence Day), celebrated on August 31st each year. 

On this date. We commemorates the date for Singaporean dated 9th of AUGUST as a date we are officially not in Federation of Malaya, which later became Malaysia, they and us gained gain independence from British colonial rule in 1957.
