PM Anwar Ibrahim has distanced himself from discharge not amounting to an acquittal (DNAA) granted to Najib Abdul Razak, instead directing queries to the attorney-general. "I don't want to get involved, that's a matter for the judge... that's a matter for the attorney general,"
former law minister Zaid Ibrahim called for reforms in Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) as former PM Najib Abdul Razak was granted a discharge not amounting to acquittal (DNAA) in his latest SRC Int'l money laundering case. 

A lawyer urged public not to "stigmatise" discharge not amounting an acquittal (DNAA) granted to Najib Abdul Razak, asserting legal decision is in the interest of ensuring fairness to all parties concerned. Haniff Khatri Abdulla asserted documents needed by the prosecution to make its case against the former PM were currently being used in separate court proceedings. As such, he argued that the prosecutors for this case - concerning 3 money laundering charges against Najib involving RM27 million from SRC International Sdn Bhd.
