Dun see how that machine helps breathing by wearing a mask when the choke is caused by the tongue and upper palette relax and close the air passage while asleep. I saw a medical documentary that recommend a small tube like object to keep the air passage open while asleep which sounds practical. 

Further how to fall asleep with a mask on the face?.......

If you are dead tired and devoid of sleep, you will be able to fall asleep...
