Experts in the United Kingdom say that Omicron can act as a "natural vaccine" and speed up the transformation of the SARS-CoV-2 virus into an endemic disease (Endemic disease is a disease circulating in a part of the population certain number of years but its prevalence and impact will be reduced to a controllable level).

Given Omicron's milder pathogenic but contagious nature, many experts think this variant could provide herd immunity.

Even if the Omicron virus can provide herd immunity, it is best that we go for the other alternatives of nasal spray, or vaccines. Better to be safe that sorry, cos there are some who had died when infected with the Omicron virus....
