Time changes, nowadays a lot of Sydneysiders go Tasmania buy cheap properties but I doubt they can sell as not many will buy.

Hobart is a nice city, there are 200 well maintained historical buildings in the city, much more than that in Melbourne and Sydney, there are seafood restaurants near the piers. Salamanca market only opens on weekend, a lot to see and buy.
