Usually the agents from the bigger agencies will take it as given, ie you don't say they don't say but their coy will still charge you.  Hehehehe so the 7% GST will be thrust down your throat unless you can convince and tell the agent upfront that the 1% comm amount you intend to pay is already "inclusive of GST"

Some of the towkays will also bully the newer agents after the deal close that the agent himself fork out the GST amount 

Sigh both the lady and aunty that I meet with never tell me. Only got to know last evening at least the guy tell me upfront. 
Plus also mentioned about the year of lease need to take into consideration when buying resale unit.
