Sensationalised headline. China and Singapore are serving different parts of the market. It makes sense to bunker in China for Transpacific routes. For Asia-Europe and Intra-Asia, Singapore makes more sense. If China becomes the larger marine fuel supplier, it's because of more China cargo going to US.
