How to know what a short link hides?

A shortened link masks the full path of the original link and its true purpose becomes unknown. An abbreviated link may hide IP identification, advertising, phishing, etc. That's why any such link should be checked beforehand.

Unshortern.link (https://unshorten.link/) - a service for decrypting short links into the full site address. The service will also show whether the final site is safe. An extension is available for the Chromium browser. (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...pd/related)
