There’s “rumours” claiming that the Korean President didn’t want to meet Pelosi because they don’t want to ended up like Taiwan’s TSMC. Which ended up their semiconductor has to “give in” to the America like the Taiwanese. 

TSMC has since been told to transfer the technology to the American’s plant, but the boss has yet to agree. President Tsai has sold out the Taiwanese company which was started with the help of Chiang Jin-Gou.

Share its technology and expertise to the U.S., it is finished. In fact 10 of the largest shareholders of TSMC are all US company, so it is now a U.S. entity, most Taiwanese are unaware of that.

Furthermore after Taiwan joins Chip 4, it is no longer allowed to sell chips to China under U.S. chip law, currently 90% of chips are exported to China. Korea knows the consequences and it doesn’t want to join Chip 4 and lose Chinese market.
