The construction of the railway will increase the transport and transit potential of the entire Central Asian region. The highway can connect China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan with the ports of the Caspian Sea and then with Europe, and in the future with the ports of Pakistan via the Trans-Afghan railway.
