With France, Britain, and Germany in the EU, they can be a powerhouse to compete with the US. Britain which is the net contributor to the EU had exited. This had weakened the EU. Now with the Ukraine war, the EU is further weakened. Germany will have to innovate further. Their engines that relied on Russia's minerals are gone.
