Limits on per day treatment. Much of the followup etc are not covered.

For children needing treatment the charges should be waived to encourage them to seek treatment the hogh charges for psychiatric treatment consultancy is not covered under medishield which only covers hospitalisation. But many cannot easily afford hence do not seek treatment.
Simple psychiatric tests for autism or ADHD costs $800 or more. Treatment is expensive and not covered by insurance.
Hence many go untreated until they attempt suicide or something that result in emergency.
